In Death by Chocolate, the mysterious chocolate man returned home to his town of Asplundah where he was subsequently ridiculed by his fellow friends and neighbors. It's only natural that he, feeling hurt and angered, transformed the entire town and its inhabitants into solid chocolate. Yet one man was unaffected by the transformation. This story focuses on him, and what he saw after the town was transformed. The Metabolators, a trio of creatures with a most astounding metabolism, are brought into the town under military supervison. Can an entire town be consumed and digested in one evening? Will a witness to this feat be allowed to survive, having seen what he's seen? This is a horror story with dialogue that is pure purple Lovecraft.
